How to install Inventor professional

Is my PC strong enough?

This is the minimum recommended requirements to run Inventor professional:

Windows 11, 64bit.
Minimum: 4 Core CPU running at 2.5GHz or faster (with support for AVX2 and AVX512).
Minimum: 16GB Memory Preferred: 32GB Memory
Minimum: Full HD display (1920x1080) Preferred: 4K (3840x2160)
Minimum: Video card with 2GB of video memory and DirectX 11 Preferred: 8GB and DirectX 12
Minimum: 40GB of empty disk space.

Where do I go to get my software?

Please navigate to manage.autodesk.com and sign into your Autodesk account.
Once signed in, navigate to "Products and services".
In the list of products find Inventor professional.
From the drop down select the correct year you require, select the latest available unless you need to collaborate with someone that use and older version. (You may have multiple versions installed simultaneously)
Click the drop down arrow next to "Install" and select "Download" (This downloads an installer to your downloads folder, by default, or a folder of your preference if specified otherwise).

After downloading the installer, double click on it, in the folder where it was saved. This will open a new window with a progress bar and start downloading your Inventor professional install files. (Note: The Installer by default saves the install files in a folder named "Autodesk" located in your "Downloads" folder.)
When the download process completes, you will be prompted to begin the Inventor professional installation. Please do so and follow the on screen instructions.
