How to install AutoCAD (For Windows)

Is my PC strong enough?

This is the minimum recommended requirements to run AutoCAD:

Windows 11, 64bit.
Minimum: 8 Core CPU running at 2.5GHz or faster.
Minimum: 16GB Memory Preferred: 32GB Memory
Minimum: Full HD display (1920x1080)
Minimum: Video card with 2GB of video memory and DirectX 11 Preferred: 8GB and DirectX 12
Minimum: 10GB of empty disk space.

Where do I go to get my software?

Please navigate to manage.autodesk.com and sign into your Autodesk account.
Once signed in, navigate to "Products and services".
In the list of products find AutoCAD. *
From the drop down select the correct year you require, normally the newest is best.
Click the drop down arrow next to "Install" and select "Download" (This downloads an installer to your downloads folder, by default, or a folder of your preference if specified otherwise).

After downloading the installer, double click on it, in the folder where it was saved. This will open a new window with a progress bar and start downloading your AutoCAD install files. (Note: The Installer by default saves the install files in a folder named "Autodesk" located in your "Downloads" folder.)
When the download process completes, you will be prompted to begin the AutoCAD installation. Please do so and follow the on screen instructions.

* There are different versions of AutoCAD as listed below, please ensure that you select the correct version you require.

If none of these appear in your products list then an AutoCAD license has not been assigned to you, contact your contract manager to assign it for you.
